Requirements for Membership of the Australian Fire Association
Membership as a Professional Member of the Australian Fire Association is open to people who hold one or more or the following qualifications:
- a Degree or a Graduate Diploma in Fire Safety Engineering from a university who is a member of Universities Australia.
- a Degree or a Graduate Diploma in Building Services from a university who is a member of Universities Australia.
- a Diploma in Fire Systems Design from a course accredited under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 (Cth)
Membership as a Technician Member of the Australian Fire Association is open to people who hold one or more or the following qualifications:
- a Certificate III in Fire Protection from a course accredited under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2001 (Cth).
- a Certificate III in Fire Protection Control from a course accredited under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2001 (Cth)
- a Certificate III or Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing from a course accredited under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2001 (Cth)
Fees for Membership of the Australian Fire Association
The annual fee for Membership of the Australian Fire Association is $100
